Ryan Fernandes

Ryan Fernandes has been a leading investment banker covering both the financial technology and payments industries for over a decade. Prior to joining Broadhaven, he was a Managing Director with Thunder Bridge Capital, a growth-orientated investment platform focused on global financial services, emerging technology, and digital asset businesses. Mr. Fernandes spent the previous 10 years with Morgan Stanley in the Investment Banking Division where he led Morgan Stanley’s global coverage of the payments industry. In that role, he was responsible for advising clients in the payments, processing, data and analytics sectors across a broad range of corporate finance activities. During his career, Mr. Fernandes has advised on over $50 billion in completed M&A and capital markets transactions. He holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Finance Honors) from the University of Cape Town and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Mr. Fernandes is a Chartered Accountant and CFA charterholder.
