Greg DePetris is a co-founder, investor and director in a portfolio of early-stage companies centered on the application of financial market structure and technology to emerging industries and new products. He supports various firm investments in operational and governance capacities, most recently as the lead director of MoneyLion (NYSE:ML) and as a co-founder of Vertical Acres, a customer acquisition marketplace. Prior to joining Broadhaven, Mr. DePetris was the Director of Corporate Strategy for Apex Fintech Solutions. He joined Apex following their acquisition of PDQ, an auction-based alternative trading system (ATS) that he co-founded. Mr. DePetris was a co-founder of Binary Event Network, a real-time gaming application for content verticals spanning sports, politics, finance, current events and weather. He was also a co-founder of Quadriserv, operator of the all-electronic AQS, a CCP-based secured funding platform with OCC central counterparty clearing that was acquired by Equilend. Mr. DePetris co-founded Intrade, the world’s first prediction market, that was acquired by TradeSports. He began his career as a commodities floor broker and proprietary trader.
