Andrew Moore is one of the world’s leading experts on corporate governance and has been advising boards of directors for over 30 years. Justice Moore served as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Delaware for twelve years, and is currently a Director of Gibbons PC. During his term on the Delaware Supreme Court, he wrote a number of landmark decisions involving corporate governance and boards of directors that set the basic legal standards by which boards and special committees operate today. These included Revlon v. MacAndrews & Forbes; Unocal v. Mesa Petroleum; Weinberger v. UOP, Inc.; and Aronson v. Lewis. Following his time on the Supreme Court, Justice Moore joined the investment banking firm of Wasserstein Perella as a Senior Managing Director where he was co-head of the practice which advised boards of directors and special committees thereof. Justice Moore presently serves as the Distinguished Professorial Lecturer at Stetson University College of Law, and was previously a Visiting Professor of Law at Washington University, University of Iowa College of Law, and St. Louis University. He has also served as an adjunct professor of law at the Georgetown University Law Center, University of Iowa College of Law, and Widener University School of Law. Justice Moore holds both a B.B.A and J.D. from Tulane University.
